Since it's been such a long time a lot has changed. So this blog is dedicated to all my new obsessions. So first up I'm loving the pin-up look. A nice netural eye with winged eye liner and bright red lips omg! I love it. I also love Kandee! I never was a fan of bright lips before but now Im in love. Next on the list is side swept bangs. I got mine cut for school but I cant't wait for picture day so I can get them cut again. I also have been loving leggings as of lately. Of course I've been loving how they work with my body. I'm back in love with Claire's again. I love their best friend necklaces. My best friend Sharae and I got the milk and cookie ones but I plan on getting them all for me. They are so cute! Speaking of Sharae I love hanging out with her. Anyway back to Claire's I also love their nail polishes and edgy bracelets. I plan on owning all of them as well. I've been adoring bronzer because I'm so pale, I need something. I love my eyebrows and I can finally say I got the hang of it. I love fall time. Random Blog Alert!

Ok so this blog will be about a few random things that I have experienced or discovered (or whatever) in the past weeks or so. This one might be extremely long!
So the first thing that I want to RAVE about is the Sephora Color Play- 5 in 1. It looks like thisAnd now the writing will look really weird but, The palette is amazing! You get five different kinds of mini palettes that have their own color scheme. "Dinner in Paris"- the one with the black. "Coffee in New York" - the one with the browns. "Shopping in Milan"- the one with the purples. "Tango in Buenos Aires"- the one with the blues. "Clubbing in Tokyo" the multicolored one. In those five palettes you get 10 shadows ( you get some mattes, shimmers, and ones with sparkles) and you get a blush and two lip colors. It also comes with a good mirror. And the coolest part of it all- it comes with a thing that you can put one of the pallets in (all the pallets pop out, and then lock into place again) and then put it in your bag and have all the eyeshadow and stuff you used in a small, safe place, with a huge mirror! The shadows are also a very good consistency. This is a $50 value, I got mine for $38.
I am now into doing my own eyebrows! I never really cared about what my eyebrows looked like before but I watched one of my beauty gurus do hers and I took some light into it. I tweeze my eyebrows on occasion, but now I think I will do it more. So after I tweeze I fill in my brows with a dark matte brown and then I go around them with my concealer. Filling the brows in does exactly what it says and going around them with concealer makes them more apparent as if I had them arched. I love my brows!
Speaking of concealer, I think mine is not the right color for me. I went to the MAC counter and the lady matched me up. She said since I have a yellow undertone I would be NW. She then matched me to NW30. <----- that color. And again the writing will be weird- I think. But I think its too dark for me. It doesn't match my face like, when I used it on my eyebrows it looked like it was tan stuff around my eyes. (Even though from far away it looked pretty good) Maybe when I get tan it will look alright? I do not know but I am pretty flustered right now. On a more personal note I think the computer is broken to where I can't upload photos. It won't read my usb cord. I think the prongs in the usb port is broken. I can't put music on my ipod either, or charge it. :^( I can't wait for school to be over. I can't wait to get away from the people, not have to get up so early and, not have to do homework. I am trying to get tutorials together and stuff of that nature but I need a camera and somewhere to upload! ughh!!!! Oh and I need to find more hairstyles I can just simply do when my hair gets all blah!! and crazy. I just always pull it back into a pony or a bun. HELP!! Anyways I can tell this is very long so until next time, bye!

How I Take Care Of My Skin

This blog post is going to be on how I take care of my skin. I have dry skin and I also wear make-up. Something that everyone (everyone in the whole wide world no matter what skin type) should do is exfoliate their skin. Have you ever had body scrub? It's that body wash that is rough. Well you are supposed to use that on your skin 3-5 times a week. I use a chemical free exfoliator. What I use is honey, sugar, and olive oil. The sugar is what is taking off the dead skin cells and the olive oil is what is moisturizing your skin. The honey also softens your skin. So you scrub it on your face or your body and then rinse it off. Afterwards your skin is so soft and beautiful. Now, you don't want to do this every night because then you are just drying out your skin. Try doing this every other night. If your skin feels dry after you exfoliate then just moisturize. What I use to remove my make-up is CVS Cold Cream. This is a deep cleansing product that gets into your skin and removes all the dirt and make-up. I also use Clean & Clear's Deep Cleaning Astringent. This has an oil-fighting formula (I don't have oily skin but it's always good to prevent) and it treats & helps prevent pimples. This product may dry your skin so that's when exfoliating comes in handy.

My B-Day In NYC

So yesterday was my birthday and for my birthday My best bud and I took the Big Apple. I want to blog about the whole experience.
Karimah came over on Thursday night. She made me stay up until 12:33 A.M. So I could officially open my present on my birthday. I was so tired because I got up at 6:00 that morning to go to the hair dresser. She gave me I very cute wallet, nail polish, a make-up bag, a mini grooming kit, a nail buffer, a headband and a head bow, and a $30 gift card to H&M. She also gave me the cutest card I ever seen! Right after I opened her gift and my Coach gift we went right up stairs to go to sleep. We set 3 alarms to 5:00 A.M. I slept on the floor and she slept on the bed. I was freezing on the floor. I woke up and went over to wake Karimah up. She jumped straight up and was like "I don't think I was sleep, I saw every music video that came on the T.V" We got dressed with our cute Tutus and I did both of our make-up extremely nice. We were out the door by 7:00 and we picked up my sister. After that we were on the train to NYC! We got there and went to Mickey D's. ( The biggest one I have seen in my life.) Then we walked to the wax museum. The line was kind of long but we went right to the front and got in. (I guess because we already had tickets?) The wax museum was the best! It was so much fun. OMG we got pix with our president and Robert Pattinson! (Faints) That was the hottest statue I have seen in my life! Then we went to the 4-D SpongeBob show that comes with the wax museum attraction. That was fun! You get smell effects and bubbles and wind. When that wind blasts you in the back of the head it tickles. There was this part in the attraction that was scary. We didn't go in because I'm a scaredy cat. It was a man standing there with a scar on his face and he looked like a statue then he started moving. I was like oh no we are not going in there. But now I wish we did go. I think it was just statues of people in there like Jason, or Freddie and them. So then we rode the subway to Canal Street. I didn't buy much but some big glasses and a hat. Then we went to the Macy's. That store is a whole block long! I didn't buy anything there either. Then we went to Friday's and I had an amazing dinner and they sung happy birthday to me. I had this cheesecake it was vanilla bean. OMG! When you dip that baby in that caramel and chocolate. I offered my fam some. They tore it up. It was just that good. Then we almost didn't make the train home but we made it. That ride back was funny. The whole day was funny. I had a wonderful birthday.

MY Coach Poppy Bag, (Finally)

For my birthday my mother bought me a Coach Poppy! I am so happy! I also got some matching Coach sneakers. I really love my bag, it's so big. Anywho, I thought that was blog worthy.

Random Things About Me!

I recently noticed I forget about a lot of random things about myself. So this post is dedicated to those random things.

1. I have a syndrome. It is called white coat syndrome or white coat hypertension. This is a condition were your blood pressure gets high when your in a clinical setting and not in other settings. I have had this syndrome for a long time, as long as I can remember so it's not something that me and my mom diagnosed me with over night. My mom also has the same condition. And I won't be afraid if you chase me around with a white coat lol.

2. When i was younger my favorite movies were Set It Off and Selena. When I was extremely young, I had to be about three, I sat in front of the tv and watched Set It Off. Now, if you ever seen that movie you could probably understand when I say it's not the most appropriate movie for a 3 year old to watch. I watched it so much that I learned the words. My mom had to hide the tape from me. I tried watching it recently, since I haven't watched it in nearly a decade, and I didn't make it through the first 10 mins. because I was scared of the gun violence. Hahaha I'm a bigger baby now than I was at 3. And Selena. I loved that movie. I watch that movie all the time still. R.I.P. Selena. I'm learning the words to her songs. "Como la flor. Con tanto amor. Me dieste tu." I'm not quite sure if that makes since without the rest of the song.

3. I am seriously afraid of bugs. I think it's another syndrome. I know a lot of people who are afraid of the nasty things but not like I am. Let me tell you how bad it is I sincerely don't like the smallest of bugs like flies, ants, gnats. I don't like any of them. When someone says there is a bug on me it all shuts down. I don't care where I am, who I am with, or who is watching me. The world just stops and the main goal is to get this thing off of me. I especially hate when there is one in the shower, I will get out the shower, halfway washed, and use the other bathroom. My sister thinks it's funny to say there is a bug on me when it's really not just for her amusement. But it's really not funny to me at all. When it comes to a bug I will seriously hurt you. I hate when my mom says there is actually a bug on me and she won't help me get it off. I have an emotional break down. Sometimes I write on my hand in black ink and then forget about it and in my peripheral vision I see something black on my hand, and I jump and stuff then I'm like Oh it's the ink. I can go on and on about all the crazy stories of me and bugs.

My Fav Wedding Dresses!

I love this Priscilla of Boston dress. I love how it's so simple and you can glam it up with diamonds on your wrists and neck and of course your ears. I personally love the hair piece this model has on but you know you could have a beautiful long and simple veil also. The price range for this dress is 3000-3500 dollars.

Wow! I really like this dress. Something about says I'm a modern bride! I love the intricacy of it. This is a Watters Brides Dress and the price range is $1001-$1500.

This dress is perfect for a modern wedding that is small simple and chic. I would wear this if I had a small garden wedding. Love that idea! A Melissa Sweet dress that price ranges from $2000 - $2500.

Poppy Bags!!!

Ok I know I'm always late with trends but I just recently discovered coach poppy bags. When I first saw them my jaw dropped, so cute, so me!
